Fixed the game's difficulty defaulting to "Easy" instead of "Normal" when starting a new game. (If you've already played Episode One, you can change the setting manually by selecting "Options" from the game's main menu.) The release we made was only working for people    with DX9 Cards. Everything below that would use DX8 files or older which weren't available in the release. This update should fix this. Also if your game is crashing try blocking it from the internet..
Idiots: The release we made is RETAIL and can't be homemade since Steam doesn't give you the DVD. And even if there is a DVD, you won't be          
able to play it because the files are encrypted on the DVD.                                          
INSTALL NOTES                    
1. Unpack the release with WinRar or anything else
2. Copy over the updated files.                    
3. Enjoy!

gente, si bien nadie de aca lo termino, no le parece corto el juego? el hl2 tenia 15 capitulos, este solo 5 y el extra ese :S

Dicen que el half life 2 era para terminarlo más o menos en 24 horas de juego, y este más o menos en 7 horas.

No es que sea corto, lo que sucede es que Valve decidió que en vez de pasarse 5 años desarrollando un nuevo engine y todo el contenido para lo que sería el Half-Life 3, decidieron sacar "mini juegos" (no son expansiones) que van adentrando más y más en la historia de HL. Es el mismo concepto de las series de TV, capítulos cortos que te dejan con las ganas de ver el siguiente.

De momento está confirmado que serán tres episodios. Si van a salir más o se dedicarán a hacer el Half-Life 3, será algo que evaluarán en su momento. Gabe Newell (el mandamás de Valve) ha dicho que quieren ver la reacción de la gente a este nuevo concepto de los Episodios, para ver qué rumbo siguen. De momento están re entusiasmados porque les permite matar 3 pájaros de un tiro:

- Sacan nuevo contenido en un tiempo más breve.
- Se concentran en trabajar un aspecto de la jugabilidad que da una mejor experiencia (este capítulo gira en torno a Alyx y sus habilidades).
- Aprovechan de updatear el Source Engine con nuevas tecnologías.

Bueno, si te referis al juego a mi tambien me faltan algunas partes pero hay que darle tiempo ya que en el emule se tarda mas en completar los archivos, si te referis al update, lo mismo y ademas el update salio hace unas horas asique dale mas tiempo todavia.
