Argumentalmente, el juego nos sitúa justo después de los acontecimientos sucedidos en Quake 2. La tierra vuelve a estar en guerra contra los alienígenas y nos vemos inmersos en el conflicto. La demo comenzaba viendo como grandes trasbordardores espaciales lanzaban cápsulas con Marines a bordo en dirección a un planeta para su asalto. Justo después, una nave de un grupo de soldados de la Rhino Squad es interceptada y se ve obligada a realizar un aterrizaje forzoso al recibir un impacto. Al tomar tierra, pocos son los marines que quedan vivos, así que la misión principal de los supervivientes pasa a ser un intento de salir con vida de un aterrizaje entre las dos líneas de fuego.

Well you might have noticed a virusscanner called Kaspersky antivirus gives a virus warning.
To clear the CCD name we like to tell you that we too where
upping it and CCD beat us fair and square but We also got the
same virus warning.
We called up with ravengames ( why would we not we had the game legit) and they said there was np problem with the games what so ever.
Well surely seems like the pressing got a virus pressed with it
or Kaspersky banned the quake4.exe file as some virusses where
also spread using that name. I hope for raven its the last one seeing such a good company go broke due to a pressing f*ckup is not what anyone wants to see.
To repeat CCD is no blame there for should be unnuked.
But plz ccd for ones use a DVD tag in your releases and tell people to use dtools it runs fine with sd

creo que solo es que ese antivirus se confunden con el nombre del exe quake4.exe porque hay virus asi, pero en torrentleech por ejemplo la desnukearon asi que no creo que sea un virus.
