hola gente una pregunta instale el juego le puse los dos update y los subtitulos pero las letras y el menu se ve todo distorcionado si alguien me puede dar una mano genial porque justito hoy tengo libre y quiero fisurarmelo jajjajaja

Yo hasta ahora no me lo había descargado por las dudas que había sobre si era la versión final o no pero parece que si. Me bajo la release de Reloaded solamente?? O qué más necesito para que funcione correctamente?? Porque veo que los updates son una ensalada entre los de P2P y los de "scene".

A mi me pasó lo mismo. Probá reinstalandolo sin los updates que a mí me anduvo así. De paso aprovecho para comentar el juego...
Raro, me pasó algo que nunca me había pasado antes: al principio no me gustó y estuve a punto de sacarlo, pero después de un par de horas me recopé. Sin embargo (y acá viene lo raro) pasando el 30% del juego o algo así se me empezó a hacer cada vez más denso, hasta que se me hizo super denso, porque los enemigos se hacen demasiado "hincha pelotas", para mi gusto, claro. A veces quería explorar y cuando pegaba la vuelta todos los zombies que había eliminado dos minutos atrás estaban ahí de vuelta incluidos los "jefecitos" que me hacen gastar molotovs y balas al pepe... odio que pase eso!
Lo de complicar tanto el tema del equipamiento nunca lo voy a entender. Si no miren el Mass Effect 2... reemplazaron todo ese bolonqui de armas que tenía el 1 por solo "mejoras" y quedó hermoso! Pero bueno, eso es una opinion personal nomás.
Lo de que las armas se "gasten" no me gusta. Pero también es una opinión mía nomás.
A veces, cuando agarro algo, automaticamente lo llevá en las manos y me guarda el arma en el inventario! Y otras veces no. Lo hace al azar como si fuera un bug ¿será porque no pude instalar el Update? Lo hace sobre todo al agarrar botellas de Alcohol.
Debería tener teclas de acceso rápido a las armas, porque los enemigos son muy rapidos sobre el final... o ponerse en pausa mientras cambiás de arma como en el ME por ejemplo.
Ya pasé el 85%, así que lo voy a terminar por curiosidad. Pero es una lástima porque al principio el juego estaba bueno, le hubiera puesto un 8! Pero ahora no pasa del 6. Lo sabotearon.

Actualiza A La Version 1.3.0
1) Gameplay improvements:
· Level cap raised to 60
· New blueprints for weapon mods added
· Infected damage reduced
· Infected no longer interrupt player attacks
· A series of improvements to subsequent playthroughs implemented:
o quest XP rewards adjusted
o XP rewards for challenges adjusted
o in subsequent playthroughs XP is awarded for all quests completed in co-op
· Purna’s ammo carrying capacity increased by 50%
· Character state from a save game can now be loaded when using the Start from Chapter option
· New balancing option added: enemy levels can now be adjusted independently for each co-op player
· Players respawn with more health
· Lock pick skill level required to open a lock is now clearly indicated
· Improved rewards in weapon crates
· All weapon crates now contain rewards
2) Fixes and interface improvements
· Fix: players are no longer left without a weapon after dropping the equipped item and healing with a medkit.
· Fix: equipped items no longer swap mysteriously after drinking an energy drink
· Tweak: healing with medkits from inventory works better, makes smarter choices of medkits
· Fix: loot from dead enemies is now always identical for all co-op players
· Fix: Purna no longer finishes her Fury with fists equipped
· Fix: map tracking after death
· Fix: zone info in the quarantine zone (City of Moresby)
· Tweak: respawn point selection is now smarter
3) General
· Improved stability and network performance in co-op
· V-sync option added
· Quest and reward fixes implemented

Gracias por avisar RB, lástima que no incluya el "DataEs.pak" actualizado, sería cuestion de ver si lo encontramos (edit: ya lo encontré, lo pruebo y cualquier cosa si es posta lo subo)
Al parecer la gente de RLD lo "abandonó" a este release despues del Update1...

Installation:
- Extract contents in 'Dead Island' folder to your game installed directory, overwrite exists and enjoy immediately.
To Play Co-op:
1. Install this 1.3.0 Update-5.
2. In Bin_Backup folder (included in this Update) contain original 1.3.0 files that uses Steam. Place both files in your Dead Island folder and you're good to boot game with Steam / GreenLuma.
Note: You might need to change appID on steam_appid.txt if Coop Game Lobby is greyed out.
