Las criaturas que origina la pandemia distan mucho de los tradicionales zombies de las películas de George Romero que caminan torpe y lentamente, babeando y gruñendo… Se parecen más a las de la película de Danny Boyle 28 Días Después, y corren, saltan y atacan como bestias sedientas de sangre.
