Bueno perdon por el doble post pero ya resolvi el problema y creo que la forma de hacerlo es factible de exteder a algunos otros games que tiren un erron semejante. Para ello se necesita usar un editor de archivos .MSI como ORCA.
Aca dejo el post original:
The problem with the Installer is that it hasn't been set up to recognise Windows XP x64. In order to correct this you need to download a program called Orca to edit a file as follows (Orca can be downloaded from http://downloads.zdnet.com/abstract.aspx?docid=323739)
1) Create a temporary directory and copy the entire contents of the Battle March DVD to it.
2) Start Orca and open the file "Warhammer Battle March.msi".
3) On the left-hand side of the Orca window is an item called Launch Condition. Click on it, and in the right-hand window will appear 3 conditions.
4) Click on the 3rd line - it starts as "(Not Version 9X) And (Not VersionNT=400)...." Press the delete key and confirm that you want to delete the row from the database.
5) Save the amended MSI file, exit Orca, and then double-click the Warhammer Battle March.msi file from within File Explorer and Battle March should install without a hitch.
Espero que sirva a algun colgado mas que como yo se este poniendo al dia con fichines mas viejitos.
